No they shouldn’t get a ring wtf... Like it makes zero sense because if they didn’t give it to everyone it wouldn’t be a TEAM. Might as well just play 2v2 at that point or 4v1 if it was 2018 for Lebrons case 😂. I swear I can be coming up with debate ideas instead of these guys getting paid for it 🤦🏽‍♂️.

The players that do not play in the game are essential not just for motivation or inside tips from what they see such as a coach but those are the players they compete against in practice to get ready for the game. Rotations get shorter in the playoffs. Only 7 to 9 get in the game.

Hell yeah I'm taking my ring cause alot of times in the playoffs u see players that really aren't that bad ride the bench or barely get minutes not because they are bad but because of the team's game plan and they know that the first eight guys on the team have more experience and trust them more. And sometimes you just can't help that as a player so you just gotta play your role

If I left mid season, the beginning of the year, no. If I didn’t play a minute in the playoffs or regular season I feel they should. There’s other ways you can effect the game on the court. You can be a voice in the locker room, you could be one tough player in practice helping the team get ready, you could help develop the rookies and help them prepare for the game or the future.

of course you should accept it. but following Andre 3000's logic, don't be bragging if you weren't an integral part of the championship. Just take it quietly, and talk about (if you must) with family and REALLY close friends.

Judging by recent coverage of the Lakers championship celebration. Those benchwarmers and guys on the DNP list were the happiest in the locker room flaunting rings like they even played in the playoffs.

Now if you were with the team for over half of a productive and winning season, you should be entitled to a championship ring. Even if you rolled the pine, I'm sure you threw passes and got rebounds during practice. Your energy alone, through the grind of dealing with the team as a whole, through the good times and the bad times should entitle you to a ring, regardless of minutes played.

Garbage. If a player played in the regular season they contributed to the winning season. Have you played sports? Would you want a ring while other teammates didn't get one? Is this type of pointless selfishness an American thing?

Houston lost this series in Game 5. for those that forgot ... here's a quick recap: Golden State blitzed Houston to open G5. was up by 20 in the first half, maybe in the first quarter. Houston scratched and clawed to get G5 back to even ... AND THEN KD goes down. for about ten mins, Golden State was truly vulnerable. James Harden had his moment to show he was a true league MVP ... take over the game ... and likely take Houston to a championship. but, he choked. plain and simple. not only did he not SCORE ... he barely ATTEMPTED to score. like it has been said, this was the fourth time Houston/Golden State had squared off in five postseasons at that point ... so there was no secret defense Golden State had. If James Garden wanted to take over the game, he WOULD have. he didn't want it .... and once Houston lost G5, I KNEW there wouldn't be a G7.
